The Star

             In a place where time was frozen, where the sun would never rise and where darkness overcame all, there lived a boy who's name was Gail, Gail Riddleheart.
Gail wandered the lonely empty streets for all his life wondering why he was brought into this world, as he wandered the lonely world he noticed a glimmering light in the far-off distance, He ran as fast as he could towards the light, but it faded away before he could ever reach it.
             He sat down in a corner tired, sweaty and pumped with adrenaline, his cold hands grasped his face catching the tears that fell from his eyes. Gail was to be forever stuck in a world filled with emptiness, lies and darkness. He gave up chasing these shimmering lights which he thought would be a way out.
             Weeks and months passed by like minutes, Until he saw this light which didn't shimmer nor sparkle but seemed to get brighter and brighter the longer he looked at it, He thought it would go away again, so he sat there and waited for it to go.
             He noticed that the light has not gone away like all the other ones, so he decided to casually walk to the light wondering "what could it be?",  as he got closer, the light got brighter and as he got closer he came to realize that this thing was a Star, A woman who fell from the heavens and be left there for eternity unless it has found something worth her heart.
             He stood there in awe, he had finally found what he was looking for, in a world where everything meant nothing, where the light turned to darkness, he had found something worth his heart, but he paused for a moment and thought "am I even worth her time, let alone her heart?" he decided to take a chance, and that chance had gave him something he longed for, the feeling to be felt loved and accepted.
             He helped her up and back to the stars they went, high in the heavens where the starlight seemed to light up everything.

             In a world where everything meant nothing, was where a boy named Gail lived until he found a girl who took him high up into the stars where she gave him her heart and Gail gave his heart to her, and forever will they be watching over all of us from the heavens up above.
